JB, these aren't questions that you need to ask, these are things that you just feel and do. Again, it goes back to that whole "embedded in your DNA" thing. Watch the movie "40 Year Old Virgin". There is a scene at a bar where the protaganist is essentially asking the same questions you are. The "player" responds: "How does a Lion know to hunt and kill a gazelle?". It just does. It's a part of you. When you see a hot girl you like, your hormones should be at work. You should have a "need" to want to touch her, kiss her etc.

At your age, girls should have a healthy fear of **********. They should feel that it is always hiding in the bushes, waiting to strike when they let their guard down. If they see you, and by extension "it", as harmless, it's game over.

OP - Why do you not mention a wingman? An Accomplice? Someone who gets you into the herd instead of picking off the wandering strays??? Maybe you wing for another, and get in that way. Right now, you have no one to vouch for you being a) not psychotic, and b) straight.

The individual pickup techniques that have been shared with you may work. Then again, they may not. I had a style when I was young that served me well. When I was in high school girls categorized themselves very neatly and they all stayed pretty much in their own circles. Keep in mind that every style will get a different type of woman. I found the type I liked and refined my style for that. It worked about 98% of the time on the type of girl I wanted. It was a dead flop on other types but then again for me to find one of the other types attractive was few and far between.

The key is to be relaxed with you. You are not experiencing anything different than any other male has sine the model first came out. Like moving in a suit, it must be natural. Converse, socialize, and be ready to seize the opportunity when it presents itself.

Disagree man. A massage is also a good tool early in the game when you've just started talking to a girl and you want to establish a physical connection.

Sorry- I went to a private prep school. I imagine it is probably different for people in large public high schools. Also this kid is in Maryland where lacrosse is a pretty big deal.
