Hello, so I am 23 years old and really want to start creating a decent wardrobe. Don't have a job yet (last year of college), but want to dress nice(r). I already wear the typical "cookie cutter" chino pants and dress shirts, but want to expand into dress pants, blazers, shoes, etc. But where the hell do I start???? I guess the main problem I have is with colors and matching. I just don't know how to do it and do not want to mix something up and end up looking stupid. Just looking for some advice (constructive). If there is a good thread for this, a link would be awesome too. Thanks.

If you don't have money just stick with uniqlo, hnm, Zara etc. Save up money for some nice sneakers like common project Achilles or margielas. Lurk the sw&d waywt thread for ideas. Maybe a leather jacket from TOJ before they close if you can swing it. Get a suit from suit supply or indochino and post in the tailor critique thread. Find some cheap captoes from meemin or carmina in black and/or brown

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I can afford decent clothing, I just meant that I don't have a "big boy" job yet.

Wil you be interviewing for a "Big Boy"job soon? More specifically, one that requires
that you wear an interview suit(s)? If so, there are numerous posts on SF that provide
guidance.
