(provided they don't want babies)
For the first time ever i've begun dating a 30 yr old woman. She's got a great career and interesting things to say, which is a huge change from the younger girls i normally date. The best news is that she has no interest in babies, nor any particular desire to marry, but she does want to settle down, which is exactly what i want. Fittingly, she works in high-end fashion and owns more shoes than aportnoy, so she'll never give me flak for the money I spend on frivolous things.
I had what was probably my best first-date ever with her, particularly because it didn't feel like a first date. Everything flowed so smoothly. We both knew there was compatability due to common interests and manner of dress, but I don't think either of us expected it to go as well as it did. Half-way through the date she told me that "they don't make me anymore," which is probably the best compliment I've ever received. I have to admit that I was a complete gentleman and incredibly charming though.
She's also got the most delicate Parisian accent, and some of the outfits she wears, omg...
This one is definitely a keeper.
Anyway, I'm very happy with the way 2007 has started and I think this is the end of single GQGeek. Our second date is this week and i've already sprung opera tickets on her for next month, which she was absolutely thrilled about, since she's a big fan of the opera but has never gone with a date.
I figured it was my duty to post this since i'm usually such a cynic.
