The self-important tone many recreational users take when discussing the subject has always perplexed me. The didactic attitude some rather intellectual users I know take on when describing drug experiences diminishes the subversive and ridiculous aspects. It just becomes another leisure activity for young middle class people, when it should be depraved behavior aimed at rebelling against the norms of work, ambition, etc.

I think drugs are good, but they should stay wrong.
