Have to agree with Jet, doesn't look good with the collar down like that. Having the collar stand up on the stark is not the same thing as popping the collar on a polo shirt.

It may not be the same thing, but for me, it's still in the same league. It's also matter of being used to wearing a standing collar, which I'm not.

IMO whether popped collars look good -- putting aside cultural associations -- depends very much on one's head size and even hair style. i have a relatively large head and i like how turtleneck / popped stark collar look on me. but personally i don't think they look good on someone with a much smaller head / body ratio, like steve jobs or tres bien's sune. hairstyle also matters.

though perhaps it's arguable that the stark cardi is 'intended' to be popped

I agree, intended to be popped. The stiffness of the color is a huge draw, if it flopped down naturally that'd be a huge turnoff

Pretty fun that people made it such a big deal. Sure, I get it. You don't like it turned down.
I agree on that it can a look a bit weird when flopped down, but I still think it works. As someone else mentioned, a popped collar on a sweater like this doesn't look on everyone. If you have a shorter neck and smaller head you can pretty much disappear behind the collar. Haircut also plays a big role here.
After having used the knit for a while, I do have it popped more than turned down. I only turn it down when the collars in the way, when it's itchy or when it just annoys me.

Let's not clutter up this thread with meaningless shit. Leave space for the threads purpose - how the knits fit.

Unfortunately that's not what the thread is about any longer just like how the waywt thread isn't actually about what you are wearing today.

Nah, this is the first fit thread that's ever jumped the shark into a better-suited, all-encompassing brand thread.

    smh

Got my small Stark. Fits very well in the chest and shoulders but flares out a little at the waist. Can't find XS anywhere... does the waist settle down?
