thanks, dunno how I missed that
^ That is cream colored, I think it looks good.
CalTex: It's going to differ for everyone, you might have bigger arms or wider shoulders etc. I tried on a L and it was more loose in the chest but you have a large drop from chest to waist so there will be excess fabric in the torso with the L. The sleeves were also way too long for me. The M was pretty snug in the beginning but now it's comfortably fitted with no extra fabric. If you plan on layering more than a tee and button up, I'd suggest going with a L.
FYI the chest measures close to 21" p2p on my size M.
I will finally be able to wear my black stark this weekend in socal, mid 50s daytime high expected can't wait.
I'm trying to find a decent cardigan. I was going to go with one of the S Archival Clothing ones but they are too short and wide for me. I'm now thinking that the Stark might work better for me. I'm about 5'10'', 130lb with a 35'' chest, think a XS would be doable?
which one does everyone like better between the regular black and black melange?
kopped black melange in S from tbs,$270 with free shipping code
marked cardi looks awesome on reborn's model. definitely prefer this 'marbled blue' (=blue melange?) colorway to the green version featured on selectism a while ago
For me, SNS sweaters are more about weave, pattern and fit; less about color. Color is such a personal preference that you shouldn't be asking others which one is better. For me, I do prefer the black melange over the straight black though.
Nice! I have been wearing mine for a few weeks already but it's mostly been at nights and in my overly air-conditioned office. Should be good to get some daytime outside wear in as well.
Just got my black Stark At 5' 11" 160, the M fits very well. (42 chest)
Agree, blue > green.
M measures 21" p2p? Interesting, might try that over the L.
I just got my medium black stark. Fits me really long, maybe too long at 5'11. Let me know if any of you are interested, might tip me in the way of letting it go.
I'm pretty sure it was smaller than this in the beginning but it has loosened up a bit.
Yeah, I measured a medium today and it's right at 20"
This is the one I would buy if I could find my fucking size M.
Newsflash, stark is intended to fit long. It is a long cardigan.
