There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    That explains it!
    I never understood the appeal.

Wish retailers would give a try stocking some of the other thick cardigans, rather than the same Starks every fall.

The Stark has the most universal appeal while appearing a little different.

Ok. Seriously though I think it looks like shit but with the amount of people who own and buy the stark I was just curious what the appeal was to those people.
I can see how it is unique enough to warrant some love now that it's mentioned. I only own various crewnecks.

    Hello all,

Which colour do you think looks best for the Stark cardigan? I wear mostly black/indigo jeans with some navy/black trousers.

Cant really decide between blue static, triple blue, navy and black melange

Anyone notice the new starks are thinner than the longer ones from a few years ago? Glad I bought back then.

So I have two Starks (a Navy and and a Forest Metallic). I really like the look and the fit. I'm about 175, 5'10" and I wear a large (have about a 42.5" chest, L fits my shoulders perfectly). I think it's crazy to say everyone has one. I'm in Boston and haven't seen another, I get complements all the time. They are also the warmest thing I own, I almost can't wear mine inside during a workday. Weight wise, it feels almost exactly the same as my Filson Mackinaw cruiser (and I have the older 26 oz. style 110 of the Filson). If the previous version was thicker I'm glad I didn't get it as I wouldn't be able to wear it. I wore it today...it was 28 degrees this morning and I couldn't wear a jacket over it.

The reason for this post though, is to advise potential buyers a bit about the construction, because I was a bit disappointed in this regard. Aesthetically they are amazing in every respect but they aren't knit tubular, so the sleeves have long seams that run all the way down the arm and into the cuff. Similarly the body has long seems underneath each armpit. As I said it doesn't make a difference in appearance, but I wish at least the cuffs didn't have the seam, as I can feel it when I roll the cuff. I guess I was kind of expecting something similar to a loop-wheeled sweatshirt, but I'm not exactly sure if that is standard in knitwear.

I guess they change it from time to time. I was in a local shop recently and they had this sort of heathered green stark that was noticeably thinner and looser weaved than my old sea blue stark. The weight was definitely lighter as well.

I just got mine a month ago, and they must be thinner if geremy's are that warm. I live in California but I imagine I'd need layering up underneath in 28 deg weather...

My Navy one is a bit over a month and the metallic forest I just bought on Black Friday. Both from Notre. Maybe it's in the fit though, because they feel like I'm wearing a big warm bear hug.
