1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Anybody know if it's possible to reweave a hole like this? I was just reading about reweavers USA and saw some good reviews:

Didn't thought of this, but is it possible to alter knits? I would love to keep the S ion I'm selling, but It's one size to big. If it's possible to alter it, how much would that typically cost?

Probably just better off wearing it oversized, or just sell and buy another.

How slim is the Fisherman Zip Knit? Thinking about picking it up. I'm 5'7" 190lbs and usually a Large in stuff with a tad fuller cuts, was looking at the Large..

Curious what other brands you guys can recommend for a thin, basic cardigan? I've got 2 Starks I love, but want something thinner for warmer weather. Not really digging the sns alters and want something without metal buttons.

    Thanks for any help!

J Crew has some for (relative to others) cheap but decent quality. Slim available as well.

I like my old Rag & Bone ones, but not sure how newer ones are.
    Scott & Charters
Howlin' by Morrison (hit or miss depending on season)
    W + H for cotton fleece ones
Uniqlo gets mixed reviews as expected: cuts are slim, prices are dirt cheap, but they aren't exactly built to last.
Club Monaco on sale are solid. I have some pullovers that have a nice hand and a slim fit. They pill a little but it's not bad.

I own a Rag & Bone cardigan from 1 1/2 years ago and it's starting to pill a little bit. I love the styling (though I changed the buttons) and wear it all the time, but I wish it were higher quality.

I also own a Johnston's of Elgin, 8-ply cashmere cardigan that I bought from STP about 5-6 years ago and it's terrific. It's soft yet very durable and shows virtually no signs of wear.
