I don't want to get drawn into a debate about this but I didn't say exactly what I meant - I bought it expecting that it wouldn't work out, but if it turned out that the sweater was nicer/looked better than expected I would have kept it. It was actually less nice than I expected. The weave is cool but the wool isn't that great and the color is more muted than what I was looking for.

All of you people who are buying SNS expecting a "luxe" knit are really missing the point.

New cut Stark works much better for me (5'7). Triple blue is also a really nice color.

I am a XS in both Cashmere and Lambswool sweaters of Uniqlo and am interested in a SNS Fisherman turtleneck.
They seem to run small so I am undecided whether I should go for a S or XS.
Does anyone of you have experiences with sweaters of both brands?

That doesn't sound so bad then; basically you just had low expectations but wanted to try it out, and it turned out it didn't exceed expectations.

Email them to see if they can ship it via ROYAL MAIL. That should minimize it. In Canada the last time I got something via FEDEX value at 40 GBP, I got like 40 bucks taxes and customs

Good post. Too bad most sizes went faster than --iinsert turkey/alcohol/etc joke here--

Someone buy this Fang at Need Supply in navy, so I don't. Would love this in any of the melange colors, but am resisting since it's not quite right.

$211.50/shipped after SFNOV10 and THEEND codes, which ends up being close to 40% off.

Thanks (I guess..spent too much already) I picked up the fang in M. I looked at the Fisherman in triple blue but the vertical ridges of the fang trump the melange coloring for me. Mr Porter has video of the fisherman in triple blue and it didn't blow me away. I just don't like the texture of the fisherman for some reason.

Sorry if a similar question to this has been answered already:

Looking to buy a stark and/or fisherman's full zip. My measurements: 6"2, 205lbs, 42p2p, 19.5 sts, 25.5 sleeve. Should I go with XL or XXL for stark? And L or XL for fisherman's?

Go for the XL in the stark. I'm 6"3 215 other measurements close to yours. I wear an L when wearing only a tshirt under and my XL over shirts. I just ordered an XL fisher cause i hear they run small.
