1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Fisherman's sweater in concrete. I'm 5'8", 165, 41" chest and this is a large.

Hey guys. I had a question about the fit on the Naval design. It seems like Starks changed sizing with the most recent batch, but I haven't seen anything about Navals. Should I adjust size in those too? For reference I am 6' 0.5", 180 pounds, 40ish" inch chest, and I was going to buy a medium naval sweater (the red and blue one).

^ I too am curious if any of the other styles have changed this season besides the starks. I guess people are just buying starks.

OK i got my purple crewneck fisherman. The sweater is not that soft. But the knit texture and color is awesome.

Sleeves still too long and the dropped shoulder and armpit doesn't look alright on me.

For references, I wear most stuff in size 40 or M/L. I got a L and fit spot on.

The wool sns is using not soft enough, whe they are able to produce sweaters in better material like cashmere damn

Because fishermen don't wear cashmere and cashmere isn't water-repellent like a good wool knit is.

you could always pretend andrewgreg ;)

but exactly what Find Finn said, we're all buying these for fashion but they are working men's clothes and some are worn almost like jackets they need to be hard wearing. they are heritage pieces after all.

lol wut? "clashes with their aesthetic?" You do realize that they've made dropped shoulder sweaters (starting with the fisherman sweater) as long as they've existed, right?

If you want cashmere get a Cucinelli or a Loro Piana.
