So, what are you guys into these days? Just looking for some ideas. Brand doesn't really matter. Nothing with super bright, gaudy, conflicting colors, splashed all over them... please.

onitsuka (oldskool asics) ultimate '81 in grey/white are nice.

by sneakers, do you mean something athletically-inspired, or just sneakers in general?

66's are probably the closest I've ever felt to being barefoot while wearing shoes. Not bad for the summer.

they look nice but when I looked for places to buy them, I saw prices close to $400 a pair. Can't afford that...

I've got a fondness for Varvatos Chuck Taylors & Jack Purcells. Currently, I rotate: black velvet low tops, herringbone purcells, black studded high tops, houndstooth purcells.

Also, I like Onitsuka tigers: very lightweight, comfortable, low profile.

I picked up a pair of AMQ Pumas the other day. Haven't worn them yet.

I've got my eye on a pair of Dassler Pumas (high tops), but can't pull the trigger. There's also another pair of AMQ hightops that might do well with my 2 wheeled adventures.
