Any idea of what kind of cloth this is? Dupioni? Do any all wools come in a slub texture?

Finish looks way too dry to be Dupioni.

Whatever it is, that's an incredible looking fabric. Do you have any other pictures?

That's nice gray, Ed. I want a light gray suit, but not a plain worsted. Want something with some roughness and texture. Could that top photo be an exaggerated pic-n-pick? sharkskin? Maybe it is linen.

I have a few pairs of trousers the cloth of which looks very like this. They are a light wool/linen blend - cooler in summer than wool alone. I suspect the cloth in the image is something similar.

Nice! Is that from a particular book? Great shade of gray. And good amount of slubs.

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
