I'm looking for a simple slip-on dress shoe that can look good with both slacks and with jeans. What I want is basically a shoe that can make slacks look more casual and jeans look more dressy. But I have a very specific style in mind. I tend to prefer minimalist/modern styles. What I found so far are these two below, as good examples. I was wondering if you guys think this style will work in the way I want to wear them.
Bruno Magli "Raging"

Mezlan "Robles"

The Bruno Magli seems more casual because of the stitching, and I think it might look odd with dress slacks. So I'm leaning toward the plain toe look of the Mezlan but would be open to suggestions of similar shoes. I'm also wondering about the quality of Mezlan (made in Spain).
