Hello guys

I live in NYC and I want to get those (tight but not super tight) slim suits.

(I am regarding to those suits that are slim and which the trouser cuffs slightly go above the shoe)

Are they Ready To Wear stuff? Or do I have to have one tailored for me?

And is this Slim style comes from Italian suit making? English suit making?

Anyone know where I can get them? Or a tailor who can cut them?

Cheers!

Send a PM to mafoofan. He has hookups for all the tailors. I know it seems intimidating but trust me, it's not so bad. Good luck bro.

Have you try Ralph Lauren Black Label and Isaia first? I think as far as RTW goes, they suffice for most (and currently they all have a MTM program goin on without cutting fee, so almost the same price as RTW).

Both Italian and English do soft and structured.

Roman and Milanese styles are more clean and structured.

Those of Naples are soft, lean, but not buit up.

In the British style you have padded and un padded as well.

Remember most of the Italian tailoring resulted from an Obsession with British tailoring, its kind of a re-interpretation of the English sytle.
