Brian's right. Except for jeans and some casual pants, and with the additional exception of some brands which use the French system (e.g. Yamamoto, Margiela, and A.P.C.), most brands on YOOX use the Italian sizing system, so a pair of pants will marked "50" will correspond to 33 inches waist, corresponding to the 7 drop for a 50 Eu sized suit, and so on.

There is an additional, laternative French sizing system that is used by say, Thierry Mugler, but hardly anyone uses that system anymore, and that would just confuse matters further. Anyway, I think that I and others bothered the Yoox customer service people enough that they now state, when you choose a size, what the actual marked size is.
