I have a few pair of the flat front classic fit, narrow wale corduroy "chinos" from J Crew and like them. I think they're under $65 or so, so hard to beat from a price perspective. Some of the colors are fantastic for fall.

Look for Incotex here or on ebay. Their cords are fantastic.

Levi's 514 cords are slim. So are Gap's new "Authentic Fit" corduroys.

I already suggested this in the J. Crew thread when it went off on a slight tangent: Calvin Klein Benjamin or Parker-cut pants. Slim but not skinny or like leggings. Sometimes they make a corduroy. Look for one without logos. For $35 on sale, you can't really lose.

I love the 514 cut and think it works well with cords (though the back patch pockets are more casual than button-through chinos, which may not be to everyone's liking) - just wish they offered more cord colours.

I have a couple of pairs of classic fit (i.e., slim) from J.Crew that I like really well.

Brooks Brothers Milano cut is really slim IMO, nice fabric and woven in France - so says the tag.
