Slim Fit Suit Advice

I have a wedding coming up with some friends I haven't seen in a long time. I've also lost some weight and feel I can finally pull off a slim fit suit, but I've never had one before. The thing is, I plan to continue to lose weight and put on muscle, so I don't feel like spending a lot of money on a suit that won't fit in several months. I don't have a definitive price range, but I'm looking to get a whole outfit (suit, shirt, shoes, and tie). I'd prefer not to spend more than $500, but I don't know if it is really feasible. So I'm hoping you all can point me in the right direction.

I don't know if it will help, but I used to wear a 40s, but I tried on a Boss 38s today that fit really well.

Thanks in advance for the help. I appreciate it.

That answer isn't helpful.

Measurements and pictures would help.
