I have black, brown and blue suits, so I need a gray one.

Under $800, slim fit. I'm a 40L, 34 waist. I like the cut of Hugo Boss, but obviously you folks here don't like the brand, so please give me suggestions!

Send a PM to iammatt - he is the guru on SF when it comes to slim suits and can recommend the best one to you. Tell him I sent you.

Hugo Boss charges $1200, and BB charges $500 for equivalent suits. That's why people hate Hugo Boss and can live with BB.

Definitely try on a BB suit first to see if the Milano cut is slim enough for you. It is their slimmest line, but BB is definitely not known for producing very slim suits. If they are not slim enough for you, you should try Sarar. They have some suits that are pretty slim for great prices. BB might be slightly higher quality, but I've found that Sarar suits acceptable, especially for the price....many can be had for under $400.

Most Hugo Boss suits are between 700 and 1k retail. Don't know where your 1200 number comes from.

I have occasionally seen HB suits at 1200, which is an obscenely high MSRP for their quality. But to compare HB suits at 1200 and BB suits at 500 isn't really fair, because you're comparing the full price of HB (that nobody ever pays) to the sale price at BB.

I've tried the BB Milano suit and was disappointed. I didn't find it "slim fit" at all, which others have hinted at above. They need to make a super-slim suit, which might (just might) equal a regular slim fit for other "brands."
