I'm tired of the bulk in my pocket! My old Fossil wallet isn't cutting it anymore. I'm looking for a slim but functional wallet, that's stylish, and isn't expensive... too much to ask?

I ended up getting one from Johnston & Murphy last year after i was tired of my bulkier bifold. Don't know if it meets the impossibly high standards of forums such as this but it is a nice soft leather, has 2 credit card slots in the rear, a see through window for id on the other side, a slot behind it for more cards I guess ( i put my aaa and health insurance card there) and a spot for cash in the middle. Everything seems well stitched and it came in 3 colors, black, a medium brown, and an ostrich color. I opted for the medium brown.

I am not a big wallet person but I wanted something nice. Are there any outlets in your area?

I found some really nice wallets at the Coach outlet. I only put approx. 6 cards (id, ccards) in it and I use a money clip for cash and the wallet has held up very well for several years. It is, however, time to get a new one. They were fairly inexpensive.

+1 on J Fold....i bought one a few years ago and it still rocks. Thin, cheap, and comes in cool designs/colors.

you won't find a better wallet than Alice Park. The softest goat skin leather in great colors, and they wear beautifully. They are really slim, the web site doesn't do them justice. I'll try and post pics of mine later.

Those Alice Parks look really nice. and cheap too. That's a hella wide range of colors they offer...too bad they don't have a web store but there seem to be quite a few vendors in the LA area.
