Hi all,
I've been hopping around different stores trying out suits/sports jackets, and I find that half of the time there's significant bunching at the back of the sleeves, even when it fits at the shoulders. This is likely due to my erect stance at rest. When asked about alterations, someone selling Ring Jacket (not The Armoury) mentioned that it wouldn't be possible since it was RTW. Perhaps some permanent attachment of some sort to the sleeve head, but I'm not sure.
Does that mean that if I am very interested in a suit that has the wrong pitch, I would have to live with it or get an MTM/Bespoke? And does this apply to suits from Brioni, which I take it has essentially a fully-canvassed construction à la bespoke in a RTW block? I wouldn't want to spend thousands on a suit and compromise on any part of the fit (I mean that's what bespoke is for, but that's a different story).
