1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Kareem should be above Oscar and Shaq. I think he gets downgraded in peoples minds because he played so long and he gets remembered for the bald golem he was at the end. He was an absolute force in his prime and was a perhaps the 2nd most dominant winner from high school to the pros after Bill Russell.

I question Iverson, especially after seeing how he contributed to the Pistons' implosion this year.

Iverson played a brand of ball that made himself look spectacular, but did not make his teammates better.

...there are at least five centers better than Moses.

In my list above, he's the 6th center listed, so we're not really in disagreement. He took a very mediocre Houston team to the finals in '81 and was the best player on that '83 Sixers team that was one of the best teams of my of all time IMO. He was a beast on the boards.

agreed, and I lol'd a bit at bald golem. NBA has got too many golems bald or otherwise clunking around not earning their keep
