The 3988 is beautiful in person. Is there a reason why that one has 3 holes and mine just have 2? It's the same model, just curious.

Looks like I am indeed waiting for mine to be remade but as long as people post sweet pics of them I'll be fine haha.

I am so glad we went for S last, it really is a great boot shape that is nice and versatile. Hows the fit?

Fit is good! Definitely fits similarly to rain last. I feel like these are a little wider in the forefoot than the S lasted quarter brogues I have in the same size.

Been a while. Just got the L&T string loafers in fox suede - will echo what others have said which is that these (L&T shoes, not necessarily this model) look and feel like a pair more in line with $500 - $600 shoes. I say that as a cranky, critical, non-enthusiastic sort. Looking forward to the weather in NYC cooperating soon and busting them out, beating them up a little in jeans and a t-shirt. Those Bonafe suede derbys are calling my name and I may not be able to hold out this time...

No I did not. I think they fit me fine without socks. Surprised at how comfortable they were.

No it's lined. The unlined loafer will be laucnhed later this spring and is called "Antibes". It's a collaboration style with Manolo.se
