The material is "Kudu Jamaica". It is very similar to the vintage Peabody kudu used by Gaziano & Girling a few years ago.

need to look for better picture than this, but all I got

compare to some OT split toe (think I did the comparison because both were suppose be horween hatchgrain just different color was surprised to find the texture that different)
