74945?

Yet to officially hop on board, but I'm in on the loafs, so we ought to be all squared away before closing.

Yup they're on the 74945. Glad to know this one is going through. It's been so long since I've been on a GMTO.

The Etrusco loafer is on the 74945.

I honestly don't recall when that GMTO went live. I know they arrived a little sooner than I expected...that, or I just kind of forgot about them.

edit: apparently that GMTO closed August 31. That's pretty good turn around for EB.

That is quick! I still have outstanding GMTOs from May, June and July this year. Definitely curious how they prioritize them.

I mean, I was involved in this one and not in the others...so yeah.

I've emailed the team, but getting some thoughts here.

I'm interested in the Löf and Tung S last. How do those of you with experience with the S last and Carmina find S in comparison with Rain, Forest, Simpson and Detroit? Obviously feet are different, and indeed, on the staff last lists, I find variations within Carmina lasts that are surprisingly different from mine (8UK Rain.Forest.Detroit and 8.5 Simpson...Rain is probably the snuggest fit on me, Forest is great...I've walked miles in the Forest last through European cities on a Skoak version in fact).

Cheers.

Clark with shearling lining. Fit is perfect and they are super warm and cozy. And I saw that the black one is still available...

I received them too today, I agree that the fit is great and they wear like slippers. Mind that the fit on the non shearling lined ones is a bit different (tighter in the toe area).

I can also dismiss the modern myth that Sweden is going about our business just as usual in these strange times. The city centers especially are almost dead with little to no footfall. It’s harsh times for restaurants, hotels, and small boutiques especially, just like everywhere else in Europe and North America. Support your favorite small businesses!

And a special thanks to everyone that has supported us in these difficult times. I know some of you guys have shopped with us not because you have had dire need of new shoes, but mainly to support us and I appreciate that immensely. ?
@Leaves, what exactly accounts for the diminished footfall? You said it was to do with government policies? Or is a big part of it down to a reduction in tourism? For the locals, would it be all about the restrictions, or is some of it self-imposed, if you will? It's fascinating to get your perspective, given all the conflicting accounts we read in the press and on social media.

Our store is on a pedestrian shopping street in a very upscale part of town with a lot of fancy offices; lawyers, financial people, etc. All of these people working there, and they constitute the vast majority of our clients, are working from home. And many people that would go into town shopping in this very lovely area on weekends also abstain from venturing into the city.

Swedish constitution makes it impossible for the government to close down business like restaurants and pubs, or any business for that matter, so all the restrictions are basically government "recommendations" and relies on people's good judgement. It's funny how Sweden is considered to be "socialistic" but in fact the constitution rigorously protects businesses from too much government meddling.

We have very few tourists visiting the store to be honest, so in that regard we are not as heavily affected like a Jermyn Street, London business for example.

Anything with shearling lining is heavenly to wear! I can't stop wearing shearling lined boots and shoes.
