1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Wait so an E in EG fits you fine, width wise? How about instep?

Pretty serious... but I was looking these over the weekend, GG Galway vs Glencoe and every detail in the GG is just perfect. Footbed is also so comfortable. The finish is perfect vs the EG finish that I have in two Galways with handfull of minor flaws, different finishes though.

I wear 82, 64, 888 and 606 all just fine in a UK9 E width. And instep is fine (though a bit tight on the 888). 82 and 64 are both Galways.

Also got Glencoes and love them (even if they are a little darker than expected). Still waiting for my first Galways from February order (EG quality control issue).

Love it. As a fellow F I'd be in if I hadn't just commissioned a single MTO Arran just a few weeks ago.

Ordered the wrong size in the GMTO Hidro Volpe 74945 last chukka. If anyone's interested in a size 11 or wants to trade a 10.5, let me know.

Yea I know what you mean.

I stick with mainly GG, EB, EG once in a while, Vass, and now St C. I'm always open to others if they can do my crazy size and are of high quality, but all of the shoes Skoak caries are high quality.

It says something about a store when their lowest quality product is Carmina, which happens to be their only brand that can't make my size. Haha

I am curious on the Arran but want to know mire details. More interested in a smooth leather. What do people wear it with? Seems relatively formal.

It's down to what fits your eye - some people wear very sleek footwear even with denim. For me, I see this as a very versatile piece easily transitioning from chinos, cords and moleskins up to a sport coat with a tie. I generally stop short of pairing a chukka with a suit but, this one could work.

nice shading, but maybe try to take the photo from a bit back and on an angle so we can see it more clearly. Great choice!!
