1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    We're splitting hairs in regards to actual color here. If I were feeling malicious, I'd say that the true difference between mahogany and color 4 is that just the name of one of them inspires frenzy within a certain community of brand devotees. :stirpot:

    Dark Cognac, the batch we got, is very dark brown and less reddish.

    ...hell, it's so dark I'd probably call it Cigar Shell. At least the batch we got for our Wingtip. Well, you'll see the finished result within a couple of weeks.

    I don't know why I don't yet own pretty much this exact pair. I've been wanting these ever since I first heard of Bonafe, but it seems that other shoes or boots always crop up ahead of them in priority. Must reconsider these for spring.

    This was the issue for me... Now it's just a brown shell boot, a very nice brown shell boot, but a brown shell boot nonetheless. I was really after the deep red hues of #4 but 'twas not meant to be.

    Gabriel or Patrick:

    Model #s please for U wing boot (and what leather is that?) and the St James doppelgänger?

    The endless EB combos are allowing for some amazing MTOs I never would've thought of.

    Also, is the kudu Thorpe still due this month?

    @RogerP

    What details are you thinking for the chukka?

    I don't think the Burgol Piz Skoak is carrying has been mentioned yet. I applied it to a soft grain leather Dainite boot that will take some abuse this winter. It didn't darken the leather at all, and water just beads up and rolls off. I'll try shell later.

    The U-wing Boot is called 3959. The Adelaide style is a modified 3200 (MOD) but this style has become so very popular that Bonafé is giving it a new code (TBA). Kudu Thorpe, no word yet, please email for details.
