Has anyone found suede to be a little more forgiving with fit?

I absolutely have, both in lined and unlined models.

@Leaves
 is it true the Saint Crispin Chukka is designed by Koji Suzuki?

I know you're specifically asking Leaves about this but I know that there is a chukka that Koji had some input in. (http://therakeonline.com/atelier-lu...-trunk-show-at-drakes-this-week/#!prettyPhoto, http://www.theshoesnobblog.com/2013/11/saint-crispins-x-drakes-great-collaboration.html)

However, that was just for a few models and they are additional options on top of the existing line up.

I know that StC brought in Koji Suzuki as a consultant, I think it was to design some patterns, but I don't know for which styles and I don't know the extent of this collaboration. I'll probably get a chance to as Phillip during our trunk show May 29-30.

I could get in on that... Not a big G&G fan, but I could make an exception for this model.

I hear ya Moose.

I like the GG Thorpe and a couple other models along with their vintage rioja calf. Aside from a handful of make ups I much prefer EG.

I will say though that I appreciate GG's aggressive styling to push the market place to new designs. I just don't thing the aggressive styling looks good on me

I think it might be interesting the other way around (adelaide and toe area in kudu)

I think you're right about that. Majority kudu is just bland based on photos

I think the shoe will look even more awesome if the leathers are switched; normal calf used on the body and kudu used on the eyelets area.

that would be interesting as a combo! so you guys are thinking to completely switch the leathers at all parts?

There's a mecarrielo shoe where he did that with croc or gator or something. Looked really nice. Could look great with kudu Id think.
