I certainly cannot compete with Skoak's photography or backdrops. My first two orders from Skoak just happened to be my first two pairs of polo suede. I agree with the sentiments on the true color is difficult to photograph.
    - polo suede boot on the Soller last
    - polo suede NST on the Forest last

There is a minor imperfection on the vamp of the right boot, but I will not lose any sleep over it.

Anyone interested in a Carmina Burgundy Austerity brogue in the Rain last?

    Or in a museum burgundy?

I'd be interested in this. What did you have in mind for soles, lining, etc? Also, I'd want to order them in EE width since @Leaves mentioned that D and E are narrow widths for Carmina.

I was thinking of a leather sole, but I'd be fine with a tomir sole. Not sure about the lining. Natural? I really don't know. Could you explain further.

It's important that this GMTO would go in at current prices (not the September prices).

EE is standard width for rain last so unless specified otherwise, EE width is what you'd get.

I was thinking leather sole as well. May be fun to do a red or purple lining but always safe to go with natural if that's what the masses prefer. I agree that we want to get this GMTO in before the price increase...just need to find 4 more folks.

    Anyone else interested?

    Carmina Austerity Brogue
    Rain Last
    Burgundy or Burgundy Museum Calf
Natural lining (though open to purple or red lining)
Leather sole (open to tomir sole)
Hopefully they can offer the D and EE sizing

    Doesn't think look amazing?

    How about this?

I just realized that Gentleman's Footwear already has a pair (but it's very expensive for me since I live in California):

Love the 1st and 3rd pair, not a fan of 2nd pair. Would you consider an Adelaide with the austerity wingtip?

They're just examples of what I'm thinking of. The last pair of course is very close to what it'll look like.

Most likely yes to the Adelaide with the austerity wingtip. Can you provide me a pic of what the shoe would look like? I googled it and couldn't find one.

Would it look like this (the austerity and brogue parts)?

I would love an austerity brogue in navy/midnight blue.

Didn't get the photo but I got the invoice. Thanks for sharing. to F-widths! On a related note, anyone in F-width try Skoak's shoe trees? I'm not even sure if GG has different trees for the different widths (I'd hope so) but I was wondering how the fit was. Thanks!

Perfect! Finally goint to place my order, however one big problem sizing.

I wear carmina inca and forest last size 8.5 uk. What size should I take on EB 946 last. Also, if you compare caemina inca same size vs eb 946 how is the lenght difference?

Looking forward to see how Enzo bonafe compares to carmina.

I too wear Carmina Inca in size 8.5.
I also wear Carmina Rain in 8.5, but for derbies and suede, I can go down to 8.
Compared with the Inca, I feel the 946 has a more generous heel and instep. The instep for the 946 is also similarly more generous compared to Rain. I actually take size 8 for 946, and it fits pretty well.
Some folks may disagree with me.

I wear Carmina Inca, Forest and Uetam in 8UK and the fit is perfect. However, Rain in 8UK has a huge heel sleep and a lot of volume (I have low instep and narrow heel).

I'm thinking to go with 7.5UK in 946 but will confirm.
