1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

That's a pitty because 74945 last is such a beautiful last and unfortunately it only comes in one width.
I made a mistake on this last too but then went a half size up and it worked all right for me.

Hey I'm still interested but I'm waiting on my kudu Thorpe on the mh71 to come in because I'm trying a new width and don't know if this will be narrow enough. With the Thorpe I can always add a pair of boot socks instead bit not with the st James bit I also don't want to go too narrow and probably won't know until I get to try on the Thorpe.

Wow any details on pricing for this yet? How do you think a jodhpur would be on this or as part of two tone for a boot or shoe? Are there multiple shades too?

The Arran Grain Thorpe Pre-Order wasn't originally due until mid Aug and this Pre-Order closed before the Kudu Thorpe opened. The last I heard the Arran Grain probably wouldn't be in until the first of September so I have a feeling the Kudu Thorpe won't be in before the pearl St James closes. Just guessing

So are you saying that we have enough to do two GMTO orders? One on mh71 and another on tg73?

No, most people didn't care which. It was half E and half F. You'd have to convince 6 extra people to go TG73 instead.

I like both lasts. My only concern is to know if I should do the width I ordered my Thorpe in or go one more narrow to make sure it is snug.

And I would say, make sure you know your size to avoid future problems and disappointment.

The grey G&G St James's patina effect reminds me of a Berluti, Lobb, or Ilcea museum calf. I'm glad you fellows are getting this version through a successful GMTO.

That is what I am leaning towards but hopefully Gabriel will be able to advise a bit more when he gets back.

So it definitely is for the mh71 last correct?
