1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Is tobacco darker than polo? Does anyone have pictures of the Carmina suede swatches? I found them from EG and Bonafe, but couldnt find Carmina. Thanks

Tobacco is Skoak's Fox suede. It's lighter than polo. Almost same tone as snuff but with a different hue. Or at least that's how interpret the pictures I've seen online. Anybody have pictures of Carmina suede side by side?

Since the talk started here, I'd be happy to do this GMTO via Skoak.

I don't have anything in snuff suede to compare, but here are my tobacco suede derbies. They look so similar in all of the pictures I've seen.

Thank you. This is a lovely color, I'm sold.

Fixing the link and sharing for those who might be interested.

For a GMTO, you'd need 6, much harder than a stock pull

Yes indeed. Im trying to be positive though seeing as the magical 6 requirement hasn't stopped anyone of us from trying to get a GMTO done before [IMG]

I'm trying very hard not to get swayed here [IMG]

I would actually prefer to go the other way, darker. Polo is about the lightest I would want to go as I am already covered with lighter suede options. I would love a 3 eyelet, but it doesnt seem like we are after the same things and getting to 6 for a GMTO would be unlikely. Sorry!

I hope the store will stock something like this for the Fall. That is, Derby in tobacco or snuff suede...something not too red in tone. Rain last, preferably, but Forest ok.

    @Leaves @Skoaktiebolaget ?

You're correct. They can't add it because it wasn't an original detail on the GMTO. Single MTO would be no problem.

My first Carminas from the recent order.
The instep and ankle is a little roomy, but otherwise good fit
    The price was right too

Come on, Dale! The Shanklin would be a perfect compliment to your navy shell chukka!

Hey guys. No I'm extra narrow not wide but I'm still in if we get the numbers. I already spoke to Gabriel to adjust my sizing from my previous pair so I'm good.

Not to mention the great service from the team! They are great guys to talk to and deal with a lot of questions from us. Plus they are willing to give their own suggestions as well. That is true service on a personal level.

I ask about one thing about an order and Gabriel will even ask me how my other pairs are, with specifics on the pairs because he cares that much. To remember what I've ordered in the past. That is incredible!!!!
