1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Mine is different from the GMTO: GG06 last, brass eyelets and lighter edge trim.

Look forward to seeing both makeups

I may have missed it or just plain forgotten but is the G&G Thorpe's apron hand sewn, and do they use the same technique to do it as Edward Green does with the Dover. I think at one point @Leaves was going to try to remember to check on this, but I don't remember seeing the answer posted yet.

Yes to hand sewn but I'm unsure of the technique

Dou you(SkoAB) have anything from EB incoming in the next couple of weeks with rubber-sole ? Dou you have the possibility to make stock-pulls in the same way you can with GG?

    Gentlemen,

These are perhaps my most worn pair of shoes. Carmina 531 Cognac Cordovan PTB.

The Dainite sole offers wonderful versatility in the rain and bad weather.

I got them from Skoak last year and they have served me well. Not to mention the beautiful shade.

Dang, those creases! Angle of the creases looks interesting, more vertical than normal used to seeing, do they fit well?

    Yes Sir,

The cordovan rolling on these is indeed unique. I think that may be one of the reasons I like them so much.

One of the things I was taught early on was that the old school gentlemen always felt that the PTB design was the best canvas on which to display the beauty of cordovan...

The fit is ok. A little tighter than my others. Detroit is an interesting last in general.

The left fits a little better than the right. I am a US 10EE TTS.

Zeroing in my size, in sleek Euro lasts, over the Internet forums without trying things on, has proved to be an interesting task indeed...:)

One last note. These are UK 9.5 and I experience almost no heel slip at all...which fact is impressive in my mind at least.

Those PTB Cordovan are beautiful but they look kinda short in length. I think thats the only way those rolls would form at such an angle.

Ah man, now I'm trippin with a complex...

Here we go again, I'm gonna put these up for sale on the B&S now...

@justinkapur I think its actually the width. They are not quite wide enough for my Freddy Flintstone feet.

Here is what my Alden's in whiskey look like:

These are Barrie 10E and fit like a glove...
