1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Here are my Bonafe MTO's from January. Vitello Bolet, Model 3200MOD on the 804 last with Dainite soles (thin mid-sole), size 9.5. Bolet is a fantastic color, and the 804 last has a wonderful, classic (sorry!) look. Sadly, they're a bit roomy, particularly the instep, which was a known risk with my low volume feet. I'll play with insoles and tongue pads. I'd like to order more Bonafe but will have to email with Gabriel about sizing.

Those look great, Mr. Six. Would you say that Bolet has a red-ish undertone? In your pics it reminds me of Bonafè's Etrusco or Vass' antique cognac.

No red undertone. The photos came out darker than the actual color. I tried to adjust them but couldn't get the color accurate--cloudy day, office window, etc. The first spoilered photo is closer.

I'd say Bolet is pretty much an ideal mid-dark brown, the kind of color you imagine when you think of a brown business shoe. Consider it Bonafe's equivalent of EG DOAK or G&G Vintage Oak, though without the burnishing and perhaps a bit more yellow.

Also, the finishing of the leather is lovely.

Gosh these are ridiculously good looking shoes. I initially didn't think much of the 804 last but it looks really really good here. A classic last indeed, perfect for your pair of adelaides. What a great choice. Enjoy them!

First shot is in a warmer tone than on my IG.

Amazed at some of the EB make ups. Endless combos and they all look fantastic. Intrigued by a few MTO ideas now.

    Gorgeous

Unless I misread your message, the pictures look exactly like the Legendary Galway. Never know that EB could produce such beauty

Sorry, my photos are of the EG DOAK/Walnut CC Galway (the pre-order from November); my comment was in response to all the EB MTO pics!

[rant] Why do peeps spoiler their own pics the first time posted? I get doing it on a re-quote, but why in the first post? It's not like we are adverse to seeing pics of awesome shoes and boots on this forum! I totally missed these the first time around when scrolling on my phone. [/rant]

Oh - freaking awesome boots! What are the details, please?

Thanks yeah, I felt like it was the classic last for the Rothschild.

Thanks, wanted something exciting. If you're going to MTO might as well have a fun lining :D

Unless somebody else got an order in before G&G stopped doing it for the regular line or they changed their minds again ;)
