On a separate note gentlemen, there are no exclusives with any company unless you are talking about true bespoke. For example: http://www.shop.carminashoemaker.com/articulo.asp?idarticulo=6080891

That link is the exact adelaide that was a Skoak design exclusive for exactly 3 months - now it is featured on Carmina's web store page for all the public to purchase in the very same tobacco suede. I myself had even purchased one. I think it's safe to say that every "exclusive" make-up will be copied, at least in style if not colour. Especially if the company producing the shoe sees that there is good money to be made.

Just my random thoughts anyways. But I do love ordering shoes from my friends at Skoaktiebolaget :) So keep the innovative stuff coming boys.

This is true.

Had I been active on the boards when the GMTO was being organized by Steve I would have jumped all over it. However, I missed it and as such will have to coordinate my own pair. All things being equal now, I will choose to go to the "original" just out of respect.

But I have purchased multiple pairs from both GF and Skoab and admire them both!

Since my work involves the brain, does that mean I should value the insoles and sockliners? :dozingoff: @JubeiSpiegel, I'll take your aesthetic abilities any day if it comes with those PS skills!

Considering what i could do with PS and 15min., I can't imagine what you could do in that time with a brain... ;)

Heh, good thing I can bill per 15 minutes! I wonder what you can do with a 3D printer...

Excellent, were you able to find the one she wanted?
Yes! I actually got lucky as there was an extra discount so it came out to around half the MSRP. Thanks for all the info ddd! I'm trying not to look at watches... they're purdy and shiny!

Back to shoes... I wonder which of my EGs will come in first!

Really amazed that I haven't seen more examples of G&G Chestnut Pin Grain. It looks so freaking gorgeous, especially on those two tone Thorpe boots (chestnut pin grain + Arran Country Grain) in the Leffot MTO gallery.

I'm still thankful for Skoak introducing Bonafé to so many. Great shoe maker.

@leaves if I am 7.5 in Carmina Rain would I stay 7.5 in the Monkey Boot or go down to a 7? I am thinking of staying 7.5 to allow for thicker socks but would love your input

The norvegese derbys are truly beautiful. First time in a long long time a black shoe or a plain toe have really caught my eye.

Tarnsjo Jumper looks very nice...decisions

@Leaves do you recommend ordering your normal size given the fur lining or half a size up?
