    I'd be all in if it wasn't for that cognac shell boot. Patrik, do you have a preference for suede? Is there one that's more likely to satisfy the gmto requirement?

    Fred,

    If you don't mind me asking, what was the model number on this one, and what last did you choose? Sorry if you've mentioned these already.

    Thanks!

    I am also interested in this, more so than suede. Need more details but am definitely interested.

    Slightly confused. Does your post mean the U Wing looking just like the second shoe?

    I'd be in for suede. Anyone else?

    If suede is a no-go I'll keep an open mind on a custom patina by Alexander.

    946 last. Not entirely sure of the model #, but it's the austerity brogue blucher than Bonafe makes. They also would leave off the perforations of another model if you desired.

    I'm suggesting the U-wing boot, exactly like it is, but in the "Siena" finish by DSC.

    That's 3 of us interested in a burgundy calf U Wing bal boot on the Rain last. Just to get the ball rolling and maybe get more interest, here is my proposed make up.

    - U wing balmoral boot
    - burgundy calf
    - My preference is for a rubber sole. Either Dainite, double Dainite, Dainite 500, Tomir or any other rubber sole.
    - maybe mid or dark brown edge dressing and welt but I can be swayed to get the numbers required for the MTO.

    Apart from the above, I'm ok with what the group would like.

    Carmina boot in Burgundy ("Vegano Burdeos") for inspiration. MTO.

    Not to dampen any spirits but I would put me in the maybe category. I need to find some "in the wild" pictures of the Carmina burgundy as I am having mixed feelings at the moment.

    Don't want to hurt this GMTO but from listening to what you've been posting, I'd probably hold out for burgundy shell. I kind of feel like @NAMOR. Burgundy looks best in shell.

    The custom patina and suede sound interesting though.

    Here's a great pic of Carmina burgundy calf in the sun (courtesy of ScottMC on the GF thread). I have these exact shoes and they are awesome. I'd say they are a little less red than this pic would indicate and super versatile (at least with suits, as that's all I every wear them with). It's a great color, in my opinion:

    I am interested to get a pair of short wing in Robert last but unsure about the toe area. I am a generally a UK 7 in my C&J 348 and Church, should I take a 7 or 7.5 as I see the toe area seems to be quite narrow

    I would be in for suede in a reddish brown tone.

    I'd be in for suede. Preferably not too light a brown.

    Okay so that's

    Me
    @etostano
    @CHRK33

    3 in for suede. I'm more than okay with reddish brown and don't want anything too light, so I think between the three of us, we can come to agreement on colour.

    @NAMOR
    @Ironist

    What do you gents think?

    As long as it's different from my carmina Snuff Suede and my copper meermins I'm fine with any color. However I wouldn't be interested in austerity or contrast stitching though so I might be out.
