Well, I guess I've found my new Carmina source.

Quick feedback on Rain vs Forest. Rain fits perfectly snug for me in 9US (I size up 1/2 size for Simpson). Stay 9 for Forest, though expect a little more wiggle room?

    Patrick,

Just picked this one up. Guess I was right to wait to see if there was a Black Friday promotion! Thanks, and looking forward to my first Skoak purchase!

Forest is a narrower fit than Rain over the instep and through the forefoot. It is only roomier in the toe box. Contact the peeps at Skoak for specific sizing advice.

Might be risky. Some people size up from Rain to Forest, especially if Rain is snug. Here's my size reference (notice, I have wide-ish feet). Please feel free to e-mail us for specific fitting advise. sales@skoaktiebolaget.se

    Carmina
Carmina Rain: UK 11 - very good fit, the best of all the Carmina lasts for me
Carmina Soller: UK 11 - slight heel slippage
    Carmina Detroit: UK 11
    Carmina Inca: UK 11.5
Carmina Forest: UK 11.5 - good fit although the instep could be a little roomier for a great fit
Carmina Simpson: Could probably squeeze into a UK 11.5 or UK 12 but in all honesty, not a good last for me, I avoid it because of my wide-ish feet and high instep

    Edward Green
    184 - UK 11.5 E
    202 - UK 11.5 F - bordering on E
    606 - UK 11.5 F - bordering on E
82 - UK 11.5 F - great fit for me, best of all EG lasts
    888 - UK 11.5 F

    Gaziano & Girling
    KN14 - UK 11.5 F
MH71 - UK 11.5 F - my favorite G&G last both style wise and in fit
    GG06 - UK 11.5 F
    DG70- UK 11.5 F
TG73 - UK 12 F - not an optimal fit for me personally

Great, glad to be of help!

I am one definitely of those some people. I size up by a half or go up in width.

I take the same size in rain and forest but the rain last definitely feels a touch longer. Forest is a bit tighter over the instep, which is preferable for me anyways.

To add to the confusion I take the same size in Rain and Forest!

Definitely snug but not uncomfortably so after the first or second wear. It breaks in to be just about perfect. I only have one shoe in Forest and it definitely fits different (neither too small nor too large) but if I sized up I'd be swimming in it.

What I really need is a snuff suede oxford in rain last. Will anything like that be coming in in near future?

Something like this (this is forest)

Email us please, I might have a solution for you. We have a Tobacco Suede Oxford that's not on the website.

Budapest, get real. You are too lame, boring and white bread to even approach the door of the Pimp's Ball.

Has anyone tried the Hestra Siena peccary gloves? Any photos of them being worn? The color is beautiful.

I take it shipping is the same price on just an order of gloves, right?

Do you consider yourself a dimwitted shit-sipper who loves shoes or do you take a more nuanced view of yourself as a shoe-loving dimwit with an unquenchable thirst for sipping shit?

Deleted out of respect for the fact that this is an affiliate thread, and particularly this affiliate. My aplogies to Skoak.
