It will look just as good in calf, IMO, and be both easier to maintain and more affordable.

If this GMTO falls through, I might have to take it as my third pair. Looking at that shopped picture above, I just can't let it pass, especially after losing my chance at those navy suede chukkas at LF.

Thanks for the picture.

Looks like I'll have to go with the real deal (dover/nevis or hove/thorpe).

I'm still open to shell - whichever path leads us to the most participants. I suspect that will prove to be calf for the reasons I mentioned.

@Leaves - do you have any pics of that fall 2013 navy boot? The image from the previous page is a phtotoshop job, but the best we have found at present.

Anyone interested in a green suede + dark brown calf combination? enzo bonafe balmoral boots, with any not-so-chisel-last

I believe it will look amazing!

this is a photo of carmina women's shoes taken by another sf member, the green one on the top, that might be what the green(emerald)-brown combo would look like.

but I also found another picture of green+brown combo, that looks a little bit eccentric.

Do you plan on stocking any Carmina penny loafers again soon? Perhaps a restock of these?

Just got these Carminas in today and they are perfect. I can't imagine a better S/S shoe.

if meermin didn't price themselves so high with their MTO shell norvegese boot, i would've ordered it January (the ones JF has on his blog).

i don't think one can go wrong with a navy shell boot; but i'll let the masses decide.
