1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The above posters pretty much voiced all my thinkings.

I would like to point out one concern, for smaller size 6, 6.5 or so, there are usually very limited choices. Skoaktiebolaget sometimes does not even stock any sizes smaller than 7.

Also Soaktiebolaget just dropped two of my favorite shoe makers --- EG & GG. PLEASE bring them back.

Just received these beauties. I am really impressed with Bonafe's work here. These are just spectacular. They are so nice that I keep starring at them.

What are the options for those who like Bonafe but have narrow feet? Carmina Simpson fits me perfectly. Rain's heel is too loose but lengthwise is good, so downsizing half a size is not an option. I've been close to pull the trigger with the last GMTO of the norwegian three eyelet blucher but if the last is similar to Rain the fit wouldn't be good.

If Bonafe had a similar last to Simpson I would definetely go for something like this (far left):

    Naples streets require chunky shoes.

I have similar feet to you (Simpson is a perfect fit, Rain is a little weird). I've had a lot of success with the 2102b last from Bonafe.

Im in the same boat. EB has suoer high insteps. No last has worked out for me yet. On the other hand, if you can justify paying more, GG fits even better than Simpson.

I am taking UK11E in GG but 10,5UKE in Simpson though. I would prefer to have more length in the Simpson but then it becomes too wide and creases too much, also the lacing is too narrow.

As some have said Carminas Buger last is supposed to be similar to GG and therefore could be a great alternative. Maybe someone could provide a indepth comparison in the near future.

I like Bonafe aesthetics a lot. I do have a bit problems with sizing. I have wholecuts size 8 on the 946 last and just received those derbies size 7.5 on the 946 last. I had too much volume of the side and vamp but length was perfect and size 7.5 sides are perfect but now I feel it's crunching my toes :( I wonder how handwelt shoes break in? If the footbed sinks just like gyw shoes, if so I guess it would fit me better. My best fitting shoes are the Carmina Simpson last and uetem last. So I believe if 946 last 8 and 7.5 was fused would have been a better fit. My Enzo on the 74945 last fits better on size 8. I believe that is my favorite EB last.
