There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Do you have a pic of a Carlos santos boot in that style?

Also, I don't see 'dark oak' listed, do you have a swatch?

Equivalent is probably Oak but would have to rely on the SkoAB team to confirm:

Here's a link to all their swatches

Basically it should look like this boot (upper and other specs):

    and this shaft:

I found the 316 last to be quite long and fairly roomy. I am a US 8.5D/E on Brannock with an instep on the higher side and wear Carmina's Rain and Enzo Bonafe's 363MOD last is size UK7.5 comfortably. The 316 last in the same size is easily longer than both, and comparable in terms of instep and width.

235 last cs grain derby in size 9UK and simpson last Carmina in size 9.5UK. Practically feel like they are both same size. They fit very similar too.

I thought it maybe a little narrower than Carmina Rain, but more forgiving than Simpson. Between the two, if that makes sense.

Hmmm... I don't own any rain last shoes (yet), but the leather on these grain cs, to me, feel less stiff out the box than the simpson last Carmina that I own.

Thanks! The shoes actually appear darker in person. The picture that Skoaktiebolaget has on their Instagram is a much better representation of the shoes colors.

You meant CS 234, right? If so, there is no way they fit the same. 234 is clearly much wider and has a higher instep. You are taking different sizes though, which could explain it.

@Leaves how realistic ordered through your store suede Carlos Santos Tassel Loafers 11 or 11.5 size?
Not necessarily navy, any other color.
By the way navy is very beautiful.

Oops! Yes I meant 234 last. As for the fit, I can only talk about my experience. I apologize if the pictures weren't clear enough to show the similarities but yes, to me, a 9UK 234 last cs grain derby is about the same as the 9.5UK simpson last carmina. I wasn't comparing two 9.5uk sized shoes but rather a 9UK to a 9.5UK from different makers and last. Sorry for the confusion.

How is the forefoot & toe width in the 234 - 0.5 from the Simpson? Also is the heel that much bigger, I'm assuming its bigger.

I've kind of wrote off CS altogether, everything I have read shows these lean to larger volume feet. But perhaps I can go -0.5 as Simpson fits me well except the toebox.

Yeah, because the toe tip on the 234 is slightly more round than a +.5uk simpson last it feels like there's a tiny bit more room at the tip but not necessarily the width(shoe can rub little toe if you have this problem with simpson last). The width of the two feel about the same. I feel that the heels on these hug my feet better than the simpson last carmina.

**My observations and comparisons are based on a 234last cs that is ".5 size down" from my carmina simpson last size.

    My sizing 10.5US:

    Simpson = 9.5UK
    234 last = 9UK

Thank you both, I only tried 160 last from CS and that last was too narrow for me. Carlos Santos last seems to be long and bit on narrow side, sadly they do not work for me.
