1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Guys, we are closing the Styleforum code SFGG (20% off G&G) tomorrow. We'll then have a general G&G sale at 20% off. Just a heads up!

Is it not so that norvegese stitching makes the shoe roomier? I recall i have read that somewhere in the Vass thread.

Norvegese Vass tend to be a roomier fit in my experience. Not sure if this is so with Bonafe or other brands.

Please bring out some more of these in other leathers, and stock more than one UK7 because I seem to be competing with someone lol. The UK7 on those grains sold out so fast each time they were released.

I am still open to any GMTO ideas in this style, perfect timing to get a suede order going for Spring.

I'm good with any of those swatches. Looking at the Cognac leather again, I can definitely see how the lighter suede might not work at all.

@SteveL91 so, if you're comfortable that makes us 2 for the Austerity boot. We need, at least, 2 more partners, is that right?

Gents, who else would like to go along on this incredible make up SteveL91 created?

Received the Carlos Santos Field Boot and have to say these are really impressive. Incredible value at this price point for a beautifully well-made boot. (Unfortunately I may have missed by half a size. PM if you're interested in a UK9E. I'll be going with 8.5 myself. Skoak looks to be entirely sold out already in all but one size).

@SteveL91 what is your take on the construction proposed, as @Dslondon asks?

I really like the image reference you shared. It looks like a Dainite sole, not overly complicated stitching. I'm good with that. Leather sole is also ok for me.

I'm not an EB last connoisseur, I like the picture reference last as well, but I'm open to suggestions.
