I was pretty clearly inspired by G&G's St James II. The leather is vitello bolet and it is on the 946 last, which is a chiseled last. Most St James II's I've seen are a little more rounded. I also requested a beveled waist, the light burnishing on the toe, flat laces, and for the laces to match the sole.

Great choices. If you have a moment to take a picture in natural light, that would be awesome.

I'm impressed with Vitello Bolet. I swear the leather looks a little different in every shot.

sorry if this is a dumb question...isnt it very difficult to get a chelsea on that doesn't have a pull tab?
