There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Hi,

I want to get a Carmina from Skoak, but I heard the past 2 years they usually have sale around Dec "black friday sale". Will it happen this year or no sale whatsoever?

    Thanks!

I heard they gave away 10% discounts back in the day if you were sending back the shoes because of the fit. Times change I guess.

Would be awesome if Skoak would introduce a black friday sale though, perhaps go for 25+% right away :D

Understandable, I'll probably just end up getting the CS field boot in Norte Patina from the current gmto

Based on the conversation above, it looks like people are holding their fire (i.e. wallets) for black Friday.

I have sizing advice from Skoatiebolaget and it seems to be take the same size as Rain. But they say it is a little more generous than Rain and you can size down a half.
Can anyone offer an opinion from their experience? I might go the same size as Rain but don't want to end up to elongated.

I have a CS derby on 160, which unfortunately does not fit me. With rain in the same size I already have slight heel slip, with the 160 the heel does not hold on to my feet at all and lacing is fully closed, but not yet tight. Forefoot is slightly longerthan Rain, but not wider. So if you have normal feet or wide heel and normal forefoot, you might want to size down if Rain is already tight. If you have a narrow heel and a wider forefoot, this last is probably not for you.

I was thinking about all suede CS field boots as well! However, I have decided to hold off until I get Suede/Grain combo early next year... I am pretty sure, many are in same boat as me!

I really like the look of those CS Field boots, but I'm trying to justify "investing" that money on boots that I'll wear probably once a week during winter/colder/rainy days...

Damn they're gorgeous, but don't go with suits...

I am considering picking up the Carlos Santos double monks but I haven't seen much information on the quality of Carlos Santos shoes. Can people who own Carlos Santos provide information on how it matches up against Carmina, Meermin, Allen Edmonds etc? The price point is above Meermin and below Carmina with their price raises. I am curious to know if that is also where it is in terms of quality.
