1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I share this opinion as well.

I find the nap of my G&G suede a little more lush and velvety for lack of better terms but I am still very satisfied with the quality of my Carmina suede. Don't know if a photo is helpful or useful but I snapped a quick picture of them side by side.

Some would say unusual to have black suede for a myriad of reasons, I get that as they don't feature high in the rotation. That being said they are wonderful and the Carmina suede is of a very high quality :)

@ThunderMarch Those are all gorgeous. I especially like the boots.

This is entirely subjective, both something about the captoes just seem a touch less sexy when not in black. Still beautiful to be sure, but just lacking that little pop for me.

Disclaimer: I LOVE black shoes, so I'm biased toward them.

All look great, thanks for sharing, especially the sizing info on the 2102B last! (sounds like those won't work with my feet) I think my favorite of the bunch are the black chelseas, really works well with the 74945 IMO, may have to put those on my wish list. Simple and clean.

Thanks Eric. I feel the same to some extent, there is just something about black shoes that cannot be duplicated. That's why I had them made in both black and brown.

You're welcome. Black chelseas are classic, I've been wanting a pair for myself a long time now.

Agreed. In any event, the browns are a classic in their own right, and, unlike black, they offer the chance for a beautiful patina with age!

Looking at grabbing my first pair of EB's. Looking for some fitting guidance. I wear a Eu41/UK7 in JL 7000 and in Vass F last. Would it be safe to say I would take a UK7 in the 946 last?

I have always been keen to get a pair of green leather shoes, and a pair of Enzo Bonafe lazyman on the classifieds caught my attention. Unfortunately the size doesn't work out for me, so I am contemplating a MTO for this. Wondering if we can get enough people to do a GMTO :)

I am looking for a make up very similar to the picture above. Details:

    Enzo Bonafe
Model: 3937 lazyman (same as pic)
Colour: Vitello 22721 (green, same as pic)
I don't mind trying this in lama calf green (see below), though maybe better without the medallion

Last: 804 (this is different from the pic)

    @watchidiot - thanks
    Medallion (same as pic)
Brown edge dressing and laces (same as pic)
Bombe construction, 100% hand welted (same as pic)
Completely hand welted, and therefore the waists are the same thickness for the front part and waist. Bombè means that the sole edges near the waist are rounded for both sides
    Lining: natural
Sole: two toned donkey-back single leather sole (I am open to other options)
I prefer toe taps, but am open to exclude.

Any interest? Price should be 4480 SEK (ex-VAT) + 400SEK (ex-VAT) for toe taps.

@dudelove - had to borrow your pics! would you be interested for the GMTO, since the earlier doesn't fit? :)

The UK9 would be GONE if these were an F width. Just gorgeous. At least Skoak actually stocks the odd F width G&G (and G width St. C.) for which I am extremely grateful.
