Patrik, one small suggestion if I may:

would you be able to take a top-view (bird's-eye) photo of a few pairs of Carmina shoes so people can see how the shape of each last compares? It would be ideal if all the shoes were the same size and color.

Ultimately, this photo could be a permanent fixture under the Carmina section of the website for all customers to use as a point of reference.

The new website looks great BTW :slayer:

    Hi.

Just want to check the interest of a Bonafe chukka in moka suede with shearling lining and rubber soles. Last 363, classic round. This will be awesome winter boot!

The shearling will be in the whole shoe. Type of welt and rubber sole is not set as SkoAB will have to check the options with Bonafe.

Price will be (or close to) 6300 SEK including VAT but excluding shipping.

    PM if interested.

Sounds appealing I would be interested in a leather option; calf or grained leather. Entire boot lined in shearing wow. Maybe folks at Skoaktiebolaget can tell us more about how we should size this? Is it any different from the regular leather lined boot?

I tried a Bontoni boot that was shearling lined and I believe you size the same size as they allow a little more space for the shearling. It felt like walking on marshmallows but too warm for California. Great for our European friends

I stopped by SkoAB today and talked to Gabriel about this...and much more :)

He said that Bonafe compensate for the shearling lining and you should stick to your size.

It has to be suede and rubber soles. We need to be three to avoid the MTO fee.

Any pictures of Moka suede or what would be an equivalent of EG color?

The e-shop looks great! As a future enhancement, it would be nice to be able to sort by both size and last.

    Wingtip boot update
There were seven responses to the survey that I put up, and there seems to be general consensus about everything other than the sole:
    • Dark cognac shell, wingtip boot, Rain last.
    • Dark brown edge trim.
    • Flat welt.
    • All eyelets.

How about if I put up a second round survey that just asks people to choose between a single Dainite and single leather sole?

Sir, is there any chance you will restock the Carmina 732 in burgundy calf?

If I hadn't an ongoing MTO I'd might sign up on this.

Single and double dainite were the most selected soles during the first round so shouldn't it be between those two options?

The double leather vote was mine, and I could go single or double, plus I thought leather v. Dainite might help simplify the choices.

My primary vote was for double dainite, which received the second most votes. If double dainite isn't going to happen then my next preference would be for double leather.

Single Dainite v. double leather is OK with me.

Ooooh! If I wasn't waiting for my Galways... sounds awesome, and perfect for swedish winters. Too bad this wasn't thought of in july/august. Might be up for a rerun for next winter.
Although for that money, one might be tempted to chip in a "bit" more for a country grain/suede shearling lined Galway on the 62 last.
