Agreed on the juxaposition of double leather and Veldt. I would go Dainite as Ridgeway is likely more heavy than you want.

As far as I know EG does not offer an antique style edge trim. The three offerings I am aware of are:
    Natural
    Dark brown
    Black

EG has a mid brown as well thats what the color if the edge trim is in my avatar. I emailed EG direct to make sure my mto didn't get submitted with the wrong specs.

@Leaves - I have a question about that brown semi broque in rain last on your website. Will that be suitable for someone with slightly high instep?
I have an oxford in forest last and its kind of tight for me at the top (where the laces are knotted).

Yes, Rain is more generous across the instep. Please email us for specific fitting advise.

@Leaves Is the Carmina austerity brogue in "the usual" vegano brown, i.e. the same color as the semi-brogue?

Question for you guys, we've been experimenting a bit with the presentation of our pictures the last couple of months. Which type of shot do you guys feel represents the shoes best?

    Neutral grey background?

    ...or store background?

Store. I always think your stock photos are very good, and a great representation of what the product actually looks like in person.
