Not very nice style IMO = the stitching on the counter. The front toecap is great. Heel counters are better free of brogueing IMO.

I was just using the picture to show the shape of the bottom part of the brogue facing, where the curve is nicely rounded. I don't really care for the swoosh. I would also like the brogue to include pinking/serrated edge.

Anyway, to the MTO guys, the 2nd from the left that you guys chose
LL

is the same as this
LL

Can I persuade you guys to consider the 3rd from the left, which is more of a chestnut color?

Guys, it's going to be tough to please everyone on this MTO it seems. What do you guys think of:
  • Model 3200 (I'll ask Bonafé to make it with a peaked heel counter like on the G&G St.James II)
  • No cap, but with medallion
  • 946 chiselled last
  • Vitello Giamaica
Model 3200:
700
946 last:
700
Vitello Giamaica:
700

U-Wing Boot. any interest in getting this boot made up? it sounds like the outsole is the only outstanding detail. just post what you want the outsole to be and the majority wins.

i want single dainite

j. lee, you want the york?

m6, you expressed interest in a single leather?

If york would cause any structural issues, then I'd opt for dainite if we're doing single. If double soles, then one piece leather with a piece dainite. As long as I don't need to fuss with getting toe taps installed, I'm happy.

Oh I wish I didn't back out of this MTO... Would be interested if this was conducted again... maybe in Edwardian and some tan pebblegrain color! :slayer:

I cant wait for these!

DpprDr you have some of the best EG's I have seen. It would have been nice to know that I share a pair of boots by the EG man himself

I'm all for a new Galway GMTO. I was hoping someone would get the ball rolling on this. Only problem is that there are sooooo many nice combinations it's hard to chose one and stick with it.

Edwardian/Grain?
1000

DOAK/Walnut Grain re-run?
1000

Cloud/Black Suede?
1000

Rosewood Country Calf?
1000

Almond Country Calf?
1000
