Very nice shoes and very nice combo. Congrats
I thought I had wideish feet with high insteps.
I don't have wide feet. I do have a joint / ball that "point" out but the rest of my foot is rather narrowish.
I have a slightly high instep, but the forefoot is actually lower than what is usual.
A hard to fit foot...
I tend to choose to wide shoes to accomodate the ball, get too much room on the upper of my forefoot and to wide heel area.
Doughie Pictures are great. Can you offer some sizing recommendations across other major brands. Most of us here are unfamiliar with Enzo Bonafe shoes hence hesitant to order.
Thank you everyone! I'm very happy with my purchase.
I'm sure Patrik is able to answer that question better then me; but according to me the fit is true to size.
Some folks have expressed interests in Enzo Bonafe Chukka you guys had for sale. Can you offer any sizing guidance for example against Carmina Rain E width last, Edward Green 82/888 E width last any G&G lasts?
From what you told us we would only need 3 people to avoid MTO fees.
I have the same pair of Bonafe chukkas in a 9UK and wear an 9UK in Carmina's Forest and Rain lasts. They fit my feet very similarly to those two lasts.
Hey Leaves, did you get a new ETA on the burgundy chukkas at the factory?
You indeed didn't make any such promises. The information at that time was "around three months to delivery", which makes mid-to-late October about right.
I had forced myself to "forget" about these, but now I'm all excited again!
Got some Enzo bonafe MTO black chukkas on the round last coming in this month, when they arrive I'll add to the sizing.
Just came in! I'll try to snap a couple of pictures before we ship them if that's ok with you?
No, sorry, nothing yet, the Burgundy Calf is still a problem (tannery not delivering as expected).
Yes, only three people needed. We're setting up a fitting guide for Bonafé as we speak. Just got our new stock and IMO all new models look bloody fantastic. We have two new dress shoes where Bonafé has made a "suola a schiena d’asino" (literally "donkey back") or fiddle back waist as it is sometimes called in English. Have a look:
It's not as pronounced as on G&G or EG top drawer but it's still a very nice feature.
Damn the first one looks nice.Is that burgundy leaves?Would love a similar design in maybe cognac
Oh my.... that wholecut.... oh my poor wallet....
I'll look forward to pics of all the new arrivals.
