Nice leaves, if I mto a pair of shoes from you can i have them sent to Alexander? Was thinking of getting a maple Dover.

Actually that would be a nice stock item, people can't get enough Dovers these days.

We have entered The Great Dover Bubble of 2014-2015...

Would be cool if Skoak offered a Dandy Shoe Care option on all shoes. Not sure if specific vendors like EG would frown upon that.

I'm actually curious how EG would manage the uppers should treated shoes be returned to the factory for refurb. I'm sure if a request was made to leave the uppers they will respect though.

If asked, they will resole and refurbish without altering the upper. Have done it and seen it a few times.

Does anyone have some well-worn photos of the Carmina veggie-tanned jumper? I'm looking for a shit-kicker winter boot and I think I prefer the Carminas to the newest alden chamois+commando daytripper. I've never owned Carmina before, though.

We can arrange for the shoes to be sent down to Alexander in Parma, and you can have a dialogue directly with him.

We'll continue to do small scale colabs with Dandy but as it looks now, we won't make it a permanent offering. As mentioned above though, any shoes you order, we could have sent to him and you can take it from there.

Hi fellow SF-ian, since we have quite a few gentleman here interested in the Carmina Robert last, maybe we should do a GMTO on it? I can't wear a boot in where I live, so that's out of question for me.

What I have in mind is a punched cap toe (Carmina 762), semi brogue or a U tip.

    Material: Calf

Colour: Dark brown, Brown (something not too light for office working environment, goes well with suits)

I leave some pictures here for consideration.

Those look great. Dovers, maybe perhaps more than any other shoe, seem to look great in about any leather/last combination I've ever seen them in.
