Yep. Those boots are really something.
Plum museum similar to G&G Vintage Rioja?
I do not know, @Leaves probably has a better idea.
Plum museum looks identical to the burgundy austerity brogue by Enzo listed on their site.
I loved that plum museum austerity brogue, but when I went online to purchase it, she was already sold out in my size.
You snooze you lose I guess
What does everyone think of this design? Does the medallion work with a stitched toe cap instead of a brogued cap? I've almost always seen a medallion paired with either a brogued cap toe or wingtip.
@Leaves does the chain stitching come in any other colour? Can it be made to match the colour of the upper?
I am not a boot guy and do not yet own a pair of boots, but after seeing the side profile shot of that boot on skoak's instagram, that thing is beautiful. It shows the contrast of the black grain and the plum so much better.
It's certainly growing on me.
What do you think of the stitched cap toe and medallion combination? I can't help but think the medallion 'overwhelms' it somewhat.
I don't really like black as a contrasting color but the overall design is fantastic. The medallion works.
I would like to do a dark brown suede U last, but I would want it to be Carmina on the Rain last with a leather sole. That would be cool. I am in if anyone likes the idea.
You mean U-wing like this? I would love it but I thought it might be hard to get 6 for it.
WE have that make up in brown suede incoming in September (without medallion).
I like the medallion and i think it works with this agressive/chiseled last. IMO it would be different if it were on a rounder last (i.e. galway)
what color do you think would work better? I thought the same thing at first but dont think any brown/tan would work. The only thing i could think of would be burgundy, but that wouldnt offer any contrast
Black Suede will look very nice with Plum MC.
I absolutely love it.
