@Leaves and Alexander, any plans to re-stock this rain lasted derby boot in black calf? This was an awesome model and I know it sold out very quickly. It would be a great fall/winter boot especially with a dainite sole:

Why choose Blake over hand welting?

Price increase will of course not affect any remaining balances, only new orders.

lighter weight, kind of appropriate for the summer shoes.

Correct, you can make a very light weight looking shoe, like these button boots. Personally I prefer it for loafers more but this boot was made up by a true boot guy who wanted something different for his collection.

I have never had an affinity toward button boots, but these are really something.
    Love them.

Guys let's beat the price increase. I am proposing this Bonafe GMTO

These shoes on Bonafe chiseled 946 last.

In Vitello Elise color which is very light tan color see it here nested between EG Acorn and G&G Maple

Here is another picture of Vitello Elise from Bonafe swatch

They would be made using Blake construction to provide lighter soles and overall lighter look of the shoes. Here is the example of Blake construction and soles.

Here is the original shoe which served as inspiration for this project.

The price would be around $600 without VAT and shipping, the delivery time about 3-4 months
We would need at least 3 members to agree on these specifications.

@Leaves let me know if this is doable and the price is right?

Buy currency futures to hedge against the increase in shoe prices.

Price for Blake ready-to-wear is 3600 SEK ex VAT~$525 USD.

@leaves, if I am 7.5UK in Carmina Rain and 8UK in EG can I make the 7UK work in the Bonafe suede chukka on your site? or will it be too small? I am unsure of their sizing.

    Thanks, I assume MTO is + 15%.
I may do this on my own if there is no interest?

    @Leaves

I was looking at the EG Farringdon for MTO, does that come with/without the medallion standard? I see it both ways in online pics, and would prefer the plain toe version...

I would go 7.5UK with those. I have the 946 last austerity brogue and sized them same as Carmina (Oscar last) at 7.5UK. Fits perfectly.

Definitely too small. I have those chukkas albeit in calf color. I take the same size in Rain last and 946 last. Do not size down.
