I highly doubt this. My understanding is that Wildsmith is now owned by Herring Shoes. They're supposed to launch their Wildsmith range this month.

    Epicure,
Thanks for the info. Timing is about right then, but I don't know that this would make sense from a business perspective, either!

Looked them up on Instagram and they look good but I don't see anything like the Chelseas and some of the other shoes that have been teased.

Input needed on CS GMTO...thinking of placing an order for the CS GMTO Adelaide but not sure which patina to select. I only onw 1 pair of CS in Coimbra. Narrowed my choices to Wine Shadow or Guimares. I really like the Wine Shadow as it is similar in color to the CJ Westbournes that I wore heavily and have since had to pass on, but I think the Guimares is a more versatile color. Which patina would you choose and why? Am I correct in assuming the Guimares is more versatile?

It’s hard to tell by the pics on the website, but is Vitello Etrusco just a Dark Brown? I’m asking cause I have a pair in Vitello Yoko (Dark Burgundy) and they look identical at least on my screen.

Guimares is definitely more versatile but Wine Shadow is an awesome color. It’s not too red, as many red tones tend to be.

Etrusco is Dark Brown with reddish undertones. Yoko is Burgundy but I would not say Dark Burgundy. But colors vary a bit from batch to batch, this is unavoidable.

Final word on the mystery maker. It’s George Cleverley.
